Driving Innovation and Building a Strong PV Power Labor Union

On July 22, 2026, the Labor Union of Vietnam Electricity Corporation Joint Stock Company (PV Power) - a subsidiary of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) - organized its 3rd Expanded Executive Committee Meeting for the 2025-2030 term. The meeting aimed to evaluate the union's activities in the first half of 2026 and implement key tasks for the second half of the year.



Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Chairman of the Petrovietnam Labor Union - attended and directed the conference.



Meeting Focuses on Union Development Orientation

The 3rd Expanded Executive Committee Meeting of PV Power Labor Union comprehensively discussed and evaluated the union's activities in the first half of 2026. This provided an opportunity for delegates to review achievements, limitations, and propose directions and key tasks for the remaining half of the year.



In his speech at the meeting, the Chairman of PV Power Labor Union presented a summary report on the union's activities over the first six months, highlighting outstanding results in caring for workers' welfare, implementing emulation movements, cultural and sports activities, and social work.

  • Successfully organized programs to care for workers' lives, giving gifts to employees on holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year)

  • Strengthened propaganda and legal dissemination, improving awareness among union members

    Guidance from Senior Leadership

    In his speech at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Chairman of the Petrovietnam Labor Union - acknowledged the efforts and achievements of the PV Power Labor Union in recent times.



    Mr. Kha emphasized: "PV Power needs to continue promoting innovation in union activities, improving the quality of care for workers' lives, and particularly focusing on empowering workers' rights to participate in management. At the same time, the union needs to strengthen coordination with authorities and political-social organizations in implementing development tasks of the unit."



    Mr. Kha also directed the PV Power Labor Union to continue effectively implementing social security programs, supporting workers in difficult circumstances, contributing to building a strong, substantial labor union organization.



    Development Orientation Until 2030

    In its development orientation until 2030, the PV Power Labor Union aims to build an increasingly strong labor union organization that truly serves as a reliable support for workers. The union will continue to innovate the content and methods of its activities to suit new situations and development requirements of the unit.



    Specifically, the PV Power Labor Union will focus on the following solutions:



    • Strengthen the application of information technology in union activities, creating favorable conditions for union members and workers
    • Enhance propaganda and political-ideological education, raising awareness among union members
    • Improve the quality of activities caring for, protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of workers
    • Promote democracy, strengthen dialogue between workers and employers
    • Organize lively, practical emulation movements, contributing to achieving production and business targets

    The 3rd Expanded Executive Committee Meeting of the PV Power Labor Union concluded successfully, creating momentum for all union members and employees of the unit to strive excellently to accomplish the set tasks.
