PVCFC Completes Modern Infrastructure Facilities to Enhance Workers' Quality of Life at Ca Mau Gas-Electricity-Urea Complex

On June 18, 2023, the Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Gas Ca Mau (PVCFC) - a member of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) - solemnly held the inauguration ceremony for a complex of projects at the Workers' Residential Area of the Ca Mau Gas-Electricity-Urea Complex. This event marks a significant milestone in the process of completing the infrastructure system serving workers, while also contributing to improving asset management efficiency and promoting the sustainable development of the Corporation.



Background and Significance of the Project

The Ca Mau Gas-Electricity-Urea Complex stands as one of Petrovietnam's key projects, playing a crucial role in ensuring national energy security and socio-economic development of the Southwest region. To ensure the living conditions for hundreds of workers directly involved in the project, PVCFC has implemented the construction of a workers' residential area fully equipped with modern amenities.



The newly inaugurated projects not only meet essential housing needs but also create a civilized, modern living environment, contributing to improving the quality of life for workers, thereby enhancing labor productivity and strengthening employee loyalty to the enterprise.



Detailed Information on the Inaugurated Projects

During the ceremony, PVCFC officially put into use a complex of important infrastructure facilities, including:



  • Residential building system with 12 blocks, totaling 480 apartments
  • Cultural and sports multi-purpose center
  • Kindergarten and primary school system
  • Healthcare system with a general clinic
  • Electricity, water, and communication systems ensuring 24/7 availability
  • Green space, landscape, and park systems

These projects were invested with a total capital of over 500 billion VND, applying modern construction technology, ensuring standards of quality, aesthetics, and safety.

Building on the success of this project, PVCFC has identified continuing to invest in infrastructure serving workers at other key projects as a priority. The company is also researching more effective models for managing and operating the workers' residential areas, applying information technology to optimize management and services.



In addition, PVCFC is considering cooperation programs with local authorities to develop community services around the residential area, creating additional value for workers and local residents.
